Download on the App StoreNo. MasterPacker has no sign-up, login, or password. If you're signed into iCloud on your device, it automatically uses your Apple ID to sync your data — no extra step required.
Yes. Your trips, packing lists, travelers, and bags are stored in your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit — not on any server we operate. We can't see or access it.
Yes. iCloud isn't required — without it, your data just stays local to that device and won't sync across your other devices.
Yes. You can explicitly share a specific trip with another person using CloudKit sharing — nothing is shared automatically, and only the trip you choose is visible to them.
No. It never requests your device's GPS location. Weather suggestions are based on the destination you type in, looked up by name — not where you actually are.
Your data lives in your own iCloud account, so deleting the app removes it from that device but doesn't automatically delete your iCloud-stored data — the same way deleting most iCloud-connected apps works. You can manage or remove it from Settings → iCloud on your iPhone.
